Antique gothic dragon doorstop of brass or bronze, late 19th century
Gaze upon this mighty beast and tremble, adventurer, for I doubt even you've encountered a creature so magnificent. What strikes fear into our hearts is often what we find most beautiful, and few things frighten me more than a dragon.
I know you like to prop your door open. You've a kindly spirit. But consider propping it open with this marvelous 19th century brute, lest your enemies mistake your hospitality for weakness.
The beast is cast of brass or bronze and probably once had a ring in its mouth. It has aged exquisitely.
This drake is just under 12" tall, about 9" wide, and weighs a solid 4 1/2 pounds.
