Antique bronze empire style gryphon candle holders circa 19th century
Lend your room the warmth and security of an ancient dwarven stronghold with these charming candle holders. Who wouldn't feel at ease with a pack of gryphons standing guard? These are fine examples of the Empire style design movement, a neoclassical movement which began in early 19th century France (although these pieces may actually be English). They are in excellent condition aside from a missing nut above one of the gryphons.
The candle holders are about 5" wide and 4 1/4" tall. Together they weigh about 2 1/4 pounds.
